FAQs

Are you a patient at Strawbridge Health or interested in becoming one? Here are some tips to help you on your way:

Cost of Services

Strawbridge Health does not accept insurance plans. However, we can provide you with a bill for your date of service if you would like to submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement. Strawbridge Health shares no responsibility in that process and does not guarantee that you will be reimbursed by your insurer. You are ultimately responsible for all costs associated with your visit.

Strawbridge Health offers an affordable subscription service for patients without health insurance. Some labs will be an additional cost, ranging from approximately $50 to $150.

Medical Records

To request your records, please fill out a HIPAA form found on our website or at any front desk. Please note the medical records process can take 3-5 business days. The first 20 pages are $0.97 per page and $0.85 per page 21-100; then $0.66 per page 100+. Any records sent to another medical provider are free of charge.

Patient Accounts/Billing

Your monthly membership fee will be automatically deducted from your bank account or from a credit card. You may pay for additional ancillary studies via cash or credit cards which are due at the time of your visit. You will not be seen if your membership is not current. You may update the account and be seen if appointments are available and there is no waiting list. In order to maintain and keep these affordable rates, all participants are expected to honor the 12-month commitment even if you choose another system of care.

Referrals

We work with other community providers to obtain discounts for recommended ancillary studies such as x-rays, CT scans, MRI’s, and mammograms. If you need specialty care, you will be referred to the Grady Health care system for further evaluation. You may also choose to pay out of pocket for a private specialist and/or for additional studies that are not offered at Strawbridge Health.

Lab Results

Please note that return times may vary depending on the test type, and some results can only be discussed in person. Ask a nurse or your provider about when you can expect your results back.

Speaking to Your Provider

Because of the high quality of care afforded to all members of Strawbridge Health, you will not have direct assess to speak with the provider during business hours; unless it is an emergency. Our goal is to have your needs met as quickly as possible and to give providers as much time with patients as possible. When you call with a message for your provider, a Strawbridge Health team member will send a message to your provider and you will receive a call back with an answer within 24-72 hours. If it is urgent or emergent then please call 911.
